Ingredients

2 to 3 ripe bananas

1 cup self-rising flour

1/3 cup sugar (can be adjusted to taste)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Make sure to leave some chunks for added texture if desired.

Add the self-rising flour and sugar to the mashed bananas. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; some lumps are okay.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the banana bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
