Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup cherry preserves (or fresh cherries chopped)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cherry preserves, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well-combined. Set aside.

Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.

Roll the Croissants: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.

Add the Filling: Place a generous spoonful of the cherry cream cheese filling at the wide end of each triangle. Roll each triangle up from the wide edge to the point, encasing the filling.

Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the rolled croissants with the beaten egg to give them a rich color during cooking.

Air Fry: Arrange the croissants in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching. You may need to work in batches. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.

Cool and Dust: Allow the croissants to cool slightly after cooking. Optionally, dust them with powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness.

Serve: Enjoy warm as a delightful breakfast or sweet snack!
