1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred for extra crunch)

1 large egg

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Olive oil spray

Fresh lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Shrimp: In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Toss the shrimp in this spice mixture until well coated.

    Set Up Breading Stations: Set up three separate bowls - one with flour, one with the beaten egg, and one with breadcrumbs.

      Coat the Shrimp: Dip each shrimp in the flour, shaking off excess, then immerse in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. Repeat until all shrimp are breaded.

        Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

          Arrange the Shrimp: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange the breaded shrimp in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the basket (work in batches if necessary).

            Air Fry the Shrimp: Spray the tops of the shrimp lightly with olive oil. Cook in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp are golden brown and crispy.

              Serve: Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the air fryer and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
