  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain excess fat.
  • Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the beef and onion with cooked egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and mixed vegetables.
  • Season with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and thyme, then mix well.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour the mixture into it, spreading evenly.
  • Sprinkle crushed potato chips on top for a crunchy layer.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
