2 large apples, peeled, cored, and diced (about 2 cups)

For the Cheesecake Layer:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Apple Crisp Topping:

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan and set aside.

    Prepare the Bread Batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

      Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

        Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. Fold in the diced apples gently.
