Ingredients

2 ripe avocados

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tablespoons lime juice

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

1/4 cup Greek yogurt (or sour cream for a richer taste)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

1-2 tablespoons water (to adjust consistency)

Instructions

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.

Add the minced garlic, lime juice, chopped cilantro, Greek yogurt, olive oil, salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper (if using) to the blender.

Blend the ingredients on medium speed until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add water 1 tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary; you might want to add more lime juice or salt depending on your preference.

Transfer to a bowl or airtight container and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Serve as a dip, spread, or dressing over salads, tacos, or grilled vegetables.
