Ingredients

4 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Fresh fruits (like berries or sliced apples, for topping)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Place a large oven-safe skillet (preferably cast iron) in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes until it’s hot.

Carefully remove the skillet and add the butter, swirling it around until melted and bubbly.

Pour the pancake batter into the melted butter, then return the skillet to the oven.

Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the pancake is puffed up, golden brown, and slightly crispy on the edges.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes.

Dust the top with powdered sugar and add fresh fruits of your choice. Serve warm with maple syrup on the side.
