Ingredients
  

1 ripe banana, frozen

1 cup brewed chai tea, cooled

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt (or plant-based yogurt)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup ice cubes (optional, for a thicker texture)

Instructions
 

Brew your favorite chai tea and allow it to cool to room temperature. For a stronger flavor, steep the tea for a few extra minutes.

    In a blender, combine the frozen banana, cooled chai tea, vanilla yogurt, honey or maple syrup, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and vanilla extract.

      If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add the ice cubes to the blender.

        Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides of the blender if necessary.

          Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup.

            Pour the smoothie into glasses and sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top for garnish if desired.
