  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef and pork with cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, BBQ sauce, onion, garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix gently until just combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or shape it free-form on a baking sheet.
  • Brush BBQ sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 60-70 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Optionally, brush on more BBQ sauce during the last 10 minutes of baking.
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve warm, garnished with parsley and extra BBQ sauce on the side.
