Ingredients

2 cups fresh broccoli florets (steamed and chopped)

1 can (12 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup whole milk

3 large eggs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup diced onion

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

Add the steamed broccoli, sautéed onions, and 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese to the egg mixture. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.

Open the can of biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Gently fold the biscuit pieces into the broccoli mixture, ensuring that they are evenly distributed.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the casserole.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Slice into squares and enjoy!
