Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 bags black tea
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ cup honey or sugar
  • lemon slices
  • fresh mint leaves
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Boil the water in a medium saucepan until it reaches a rolling boil.
  • Remove from heat and steep the black tea bags or loose tea for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Mash the fresh blackberries in a small bowl until they release their juices.
  • In a large pitcher, combine the brewed tea, mashed blackberries, lemon juice, and honey or sugar.
  • Stir until the sweetener is completely dissolved.
  • Let the mixture cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
