Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup diced pimentos, drained

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

4 hamburger buns

Lettuce leaves, for garnish

Tomato slices, for garnish

Olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

Make the Pimento Cheese Spread: In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sharp cheddar cheese, cream cheese, diced pimentos, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

Form the Burger Patties: In a large bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide the beef into four equal portions and gently shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to help them cook evenly.

Cook the Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and then cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Assemble the Burgers: Toast the hamburger buns if desired. Place each burger patty on the bottom half of a bun. Generously scoop the pimento cheese spread on top of each burger patty.

Add Toppings: Top with lettuce leaves and tomato slices as desired. Cover with the top half of the bun.

Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite side – fries, chips, or a fresh salad.
