Ingredients

1 ½ cups baked cake (any flavor, crumbled)

½ cup frosting (matching cake flavor)

1 cup chocolate or candy melts (for coating)

Lollipop sticks or popsicle sticks

Sprinkles (for decoration)

Optional: coconut flakes, crushed nuts, or edible glitter for added texture and flavor

Instructions

Prepare the Cake Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the crumbled cake with frosting. Mix until well combined and a thick dough-like consistency is achieved.

Shape the Cakesicles: Take a small amount of the cake mixture (about 2 tablespoons) and mold it into an oblong shape, resembling a popsicle. Insert a lollipop stick into one end of each cakesicle. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Chill the Cakesicles: Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until the cakesicles are firm.

Melt the Coating: While the cakesicles are chilling, melt the chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth.

Coat the Cakesicles: Once firm, remove the cakesicles from the refrigerator. Dip each cakesicle into the melted chocolate, making sure it's completely covered. Let the excess chocolate drip off.

Decorate: Before the chocolate coating sets, sprinkle with your choice of decorations like sprinkles, coconut flakes, or edible glitter.

Set and Serve: Place the coated cakesicles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow them to set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate coating is completely hard.

Enjoy!: Once set, your delicious Cakesicles are ready to be enjoyed! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
