2 large eggs

1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and chopped

1 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

    Cream the Butters and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until it’s light and fluffy.

      Add the Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.

        Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just blended.

          Fold in the Cherries and Extras: Gently fold in the chopped cherries, white chocolate chips (if using), and nuts (if using) into the cookie dough until evenly distributed.
