Instructions

Prepare the Filling:

    - In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add diced chicken breast and cook until browned, about 6-7 minutes.

      - Add minced garlic, red bell pepper, and green onions. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

        - Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and grated ginger. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

          Fry the Wonton Wrappers:

            - Heat oil in a deep frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

              - While the oil heats, gently press a wonton wrapper into a muffin tin to form a taco shell shape (you can also fold them in half).

                - Fry the wonton wrappers in hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

                  Make the Creamy Sauce:

                    - In a small bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, lime juice, and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy. Adjust the sriracha based on your spice preference.

                      Assemble the Wonton Tacos:

                        - Fill each crispy wonton taco shell with a generous amount of the chicken filling.

                          - Drizzle with the creamy sauce, and top with shredded lettuce, extra green onions, jalapeños, and cilantro if desired.

                            Serve and Enjoy:

                              - Serve the tacos warm and enjoy your copycat Applebee's Chicken Wonton Tacos with friends and family!
