1 lb ground beef

1 lb ground pork

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup milk

2 large eggs

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup ketchup

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Mix gently until well combined.

      In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture into the meat mixture and stir until just combined.

        Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan, pressing it down gently to form a uniform shape.

          In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Spoon half of this glaze over the top of the meatloaf, spreading it evenly.

            Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour.

              After 1 hour, remove the meatloaf from the oven and spread the remaining glaze on top. Return it to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

                Allow the meatloaf to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing for serving.
