  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 packages 8 ounces each cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 medium orange zest
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 medium orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Press into a 9-inch springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and vanilla. Mix in eggs one at a time, then fold in orange zest, sour cream, and juice.
  • Pour filling over cooled crust and bake for 55-60 minutes until set but jiggly. Cool in the oven for 1 hour.
  • In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, water, and orange zest. Boil, then simmer for 10-15 minutes until cranberries burst.
  • For a thicker sauce, dissolve cornstarch in cold water and stir into cranberry mixture, cooking for an additional minute.
  • Chill cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Serve with cranberry topping over the cheesecake.
