8 oz penne pasta

2 cups broccoli florets

1 lb chicken breast, diced

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. During the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets. Drain the pasta and broccoli, then set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Allow it to reduce by half, about 3-4 minutes.

        Combine Ingredients: Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning until well mixed. Gradually add in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper as needed.

          Mix Everything Together: Add the cooked penne and broccoli to the sauce, followed by the cooked chicken. Toss everything together until well coated in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
