8 oz fettuccine pasta

2 cups chicken breasts, diced

6 slices of bacon, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove the bacon and place it on paper towels to drain, keeping about 1 tablespoon of the drippings in the skillet.

      Sauté the Chicken: In the same skillet, add the olive oil and diced chicken. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

        Cook Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

          Prepare the Sauce: Pour the chicken broth into the skillet, scraping the bottom to deglaze. Stir in the heavy cream and ranch seasoning mix, cooking until the sauce is well combined and slightly thickened (about 3-5 minutes).
