Ingredients

1 pound ground pork

1 cup finely chopped carrots

1 cup finely chopped green beans

1/2 cup minced onions

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/4 teaspoon sesame oil

1 package spring roll wrappers

Oil for frying

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped carrots, green beans, minced onions, and garlic. Mix well.

Season the Mixture: Add soy sauce, black pepper, salt, and sesame oil to the meat mixture. Stir until everything is well combined. Allow this to marinate for about 15 minutes for better flavor absorption.

Wrap the Eggrolls: Take a spring roll wrapper and lay it flat on a clean surface. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling near one edge of the wrapper. Fold the sides over the filling, then roll tightly from the edge with filling towards the opposite side, making sure to seal the edge with a little bit of water.

Heat the Oil: In a deep pan or frying pot, heat the oil to about 350°F (175°C). You will need enough oil for deep frying.

Fry the Eggrolls: Carefully lower the eggrolls into the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally for even cooking.

Drain: Remove the fried eggrolls and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serve: Serve hot with a side of sweet and sour sauce or vinegar dipping sauce.
