Boursin cheese is a soft, creamy cheese originating from France, specifically from the Normandy region. Crafted from cow's milk, it features a distinctive flavor profile that is both buttery and tangy, often enriched with a blend of herbs and spices. Ingredients

1 package (150g) Boursin cheese (garlic & herb or any flavor you prefer)

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 egg, beaten

Crackers or sliced vegetables for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, parsley, thyme, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly combined.

In a separate dish, place the Boursin cheese. Using a spoon, create a small depression in the center of the cheese.

Drizzle the beaten egg into the depression of the cheese, allowing it to soak in slightly.

Carefully roll the Boursin cheese in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it is fully coated. Press gently to help the breadcrumbs stick.

Place the coated cheese on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle the olive oil over the top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and the coating is golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with crackers or sliced vegetables for dipping.
