Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 large eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Oil for frying

Bang Bang Sauce:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon lime juice

1 teaspoon honey (optional for sweetness)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: In a medium bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Toss to coat evenly and set aside.

Set Up Breading Station: In three separate bowls, place flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second, and panko breadcrumbs in the third.

Bread the Chicken: Dredge each piece of chicken in the flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the panko breadcrumbs. Ensure each piece is well-coated for extra crispiness.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat about 1-2 inches of oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Chicken: Carefully add the breaded chicken pieces to the hot oil in batches, avoiding overcrowding. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked, turning occasionally. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, lime juice, and honey (if using) until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning according to your preference.

Serve: In a large bowl, toss the crispy chicken pieces with the Bang Bang sauce until they are well coated. Serve warm garnished with chopped green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
