Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley

1 small onion, finely minced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 egg, beaten

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)

Oil for frying

Instructions

Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.

Shape Patties: With wet hands, form the mixture into small patties (about 2-3 inches wide) and place them on a lined baking sheet. Make about 12 patties.

Chill: Cover the patties with plastic wrap and let them chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. This helps them hold their shape while frying.

Dredge in Flour: On a plate, spread out the all-purpose flour. Take each chilled patty and lightly coat it with the flour, shaking off any excess.

Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat (about 1/4 inch deep) until hot.

Fry Patties: Carefully add the flour-coated patties to the hot oil in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Drain Oil: Once cooked, transfer the patties to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Serve: Enjoy your crispy chicken patties warm, served with your favorite dipping sauces or on a bun with toppings of your choice.
