Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken breast sliced into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying vegetable or canola
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt to taste
  • finely chopped green onions
  • toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth. Place panko breadcrumbs in a shallow dish.
  • Dredge each chicken strip in the seasoned flour, dip in beaten eggs, then roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry chicken strips in batches for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Transfer cooked tenders to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, lime juice, and honey until smooth.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or more Sriracha as needed.
  • Serve chicken tenders on a platter with Bang Bang sauce drizzled on top or on the side.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
