Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skinless and boneless

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 cup honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)

1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)

Fresh chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.

Mix the Coating: In a bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well.

Coat the Salmon: Dredge each salmon piece in the flour mixture until fully coated. Shake off any excess.

Make the Sauce: In a small saucepan, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Heat over medium heat until it starts to bubble, about 3-4 minutes. Reduce heat and let it simmer for another 2 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.

Pan-Fry the Salmon: In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated salmon bites in a single layer. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. You may need to do this in batches.

Glaze with Sauce: Once the salmon bites are crispy, pour the honey garlic sauce over them in the skillet. Gently toss to coat all pieces well in the sauce. Cook for another minute, allowing the sauce to caramelize slightly on the salmon.

Serve: Transfer the crispy salmon bites to a serving dish. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish. Enjoy warm!
