  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Flaky sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add vanilla extract and Baileys Irish Cream, mixing well, then add eggs one at a time.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.

  • Drop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
