Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

4 hamburger buns

Lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles for toppings (optional)

Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

Mix Chicken Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined, but be careful not to overmix.

Form Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1/2 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

Cook the Patties: Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F) and are golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers: Toast the hamburger buns lightly on the skillet or grill. Place each chicken patty on the bottom half of the bun. Add your desired toppings like lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Drizzle additional ranch dressing if desired, then top with the other half of the bun.

Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite sides, such as sweet potato fries or a fresh salad.
