Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons chili paste (adjust for heat preference)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

4 cups chicken broth

2 packs of instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)

1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced

1 red bell pepper, julienned

2 cups baby spinach

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

3 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

1/2 cup heavy cream

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix the chicken breasts with chili paste, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes for maximum flavor.

Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a teaspoon of oil. Cook the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from heat, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips.

Prepare the Broth: In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add shiitake mushrooms and red bell peppers; simmer for about 5 minutes until tender.

Add Noodles: Add the instant ramen noodles to the boiling broth and cook for 3-4 minutes until just tender. Stir in the baby spinach, cooking for an additional minute until wilted.

Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce: In a small saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute). Reduce the heat to low, then whisk in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Cook until warmed through, stirring constantly.

Assemble the Dish: Divide the ramen mixture into bowls, top with sliced chicken, and generously drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over the top.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over each bowl. Serve hot and enjoy your fiery delight!
