Ingredients

1 pound thinly sliced roast beef

8 slices provolone cheese

12 slider rolls (preferably brioche)

1 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 small onion, thinly sliced

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the thinly sliced onions and cook until they are caramelized, about 10 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Broth: In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, thyme, salt, and pepper. Heat it gently until warmed through (do not boil).

Assemble the Sliders: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Layer half of the provolone cheese on the bottom half of the rolls, followed by the roast beef, caramelized onions, and the remaining provolone cheese. Place the top halves of the slider rolls on.

Butter Baste: Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and brush it generously on top of the slider rolls. This will give them a lovely golden color when baked.

Bake the Sliders: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.

Serve with Dipping Sauce: Once baked, remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Slice them apart and serve with the warm beef broth on the side for dipping. Garnish with chopped parsley for an added touch of freshness.

              Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes | Servings: 6

Enjoy your deliciously unique French Dip Sliders that are perfect for game days or any gathering!
