  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup molasses

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • crushed ginger candies optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add egg, molasses, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix until smooth.

  • Scoop rounded mounds of dough onto the baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
