  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • ½ cup assorted bell peppers
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • fresh basil leaves
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and transfer it to the baking sheet.
  • Prick the surface of the pastry with a fork to control puffing during baking.
  • Spread marinara sauce over the pastry, leaving a small border for the crust.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce and layer with cherry tomatoes, red onion, bell peppers, and olives.
  • Season with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil before baking.
