Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mixed colors)

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup snap peas, trimmed

2 green onions, sliced

1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)

Cooked jasmine rice or quinoa for serving

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare Ingredients: Begin by gathering and preparing all your ingredients. Dice bell peppers, chop broccoli, and trim snap peas.

Heat the Pan: In a large non-stick skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.

Cook Turkey: Add the ground turkey to the pan. Use a spatula to break it apart as it cooks. Cook until it’s browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Flavorings: Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, and teriyaki sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.

Add Vegetables: Incorporate the bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 5 minutes, or until they are tender but still crisp.

Thicken Sauce: Stir in the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce has a nice glaze, stirring frequently.

Finish and Serve: Remove from heat and stir in the sliced green onions. Serve the stir-fry over cooked jasmine rice or quinoa, garnished with sesame seeds.
