Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes with juices
  • 1 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup beef or vegetable broth

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
  • Drain excess fat and transfer the meat to the crockpot.
