  • 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes, with juices
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for heat

  • 1 cup small pasta such as ditalini or elbow macaroni

Instructions
