  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Combine warm milk and active dry yeast in a small bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Add pumpkin puree, melted butter, and yeast mixture to dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
