Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

Vegetable oil, for frying

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup honey

1 tsp chili powder (optional, for a spicy kick)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.

Coat the Chicken: Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture until fully coated. Set aside on a plate.

Fry the Chicken: In a large skillet, pour enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom (about 1/4 inch deep). Heat over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the coated chicken pieces in batches, avoiding overcrowding the pan. Fry until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Make the Honey Butter Sauce: In a separate saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, stir in honey and chili powder (if using). Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.

Combine Chicken and Sauce: Once the chicken is cooked and drained, add it to the pan with the honey butter sauce. Toss gently to coat each piece evenly with the sticky sauce.

Serve: Transfer the honey butter chicken to a serving platter, drizzle with some extra honey sauce, and sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish. Enjoy warm!
