Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick)

1/4 cup honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Pork Chops: In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Reserve about 2 tablespoons of the marinade for later use. Add the pork chops to the bowl, making sure they are well-coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Preheat the Grill or Skillet: Preheat a grill to medium-high heat or place a skillet over medium heat on the stove. Lightly grease with oil if using a skillet.

Cook the Pork Chops: Remove the pork chops from the marinade, shaking off excess. Grill or sear the pork chops for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Baste with the reserved marinade during the last few minutes of cooking for added flavor.

Rest the Chops: Once cooked, transfer the pork chops to a serving plate and cover loosely with aluminum foil. Let them rest for about 5 minutes to retain their juices.

Serve and Garnish: Drizzle any remaining marinade (that has been brought to a boil for safety) over the chops. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
