Ingredients
  

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls bocconcini
  • a handful fresh basil leaves
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ cup balsamic glaze
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

  • Rinse the cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves under cold water and pat dry.
  • Thread a cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball onto a skewer or toothpick.
  • Repeat until all ingredients are used, leaving space at the bottom of each skewer.
  • Drizzle the assembled skewers with extra virgin olive oil.
  • Sprinkle salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  • Just before serving, drizzle balsamic glaze over the skewers.
  • Arrange the skewers on a serving platter for an appealing presentation.
