Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme finely chopped
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 flatbreads or naan
  • 1 cup fresh arugula or baby spinach
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Optional: hot sauce or chimichurri for serving

Instructions

  • Season the flank steak with salt and black pepper, then sauté in melted butter until browned.
  • In the same skillet, make garlic butter by adding remaining butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture over each flatbread.
  • Layer cooked steak, mozzarella, and arugula on one edge of each flatbread.
  • Roll each flatbread tightly from the filling side and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  • Brush the outside of each roll with olive oil and toast in a skillet until golden brown.
  • Remove toothpicks before serving and slice rolls in half.
  • Serve warm with hot sauce or chimichurri.
