Ingredients

2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup diced pimentos (drained)

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Chopped green onions or fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated sharp cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese. Use a hand mixer or spatula to blend them until well combined and creamy.

Incorporate the Pimentos: Fold in the diced pimentos using a rubber spatula or spoon. Ensure the pimentos are evenly distributed throughout the cheese mixture.

Add the Creaminess: Mix in the mayonnaise until the mixture reaches your desired creaminess. You can adjust the amount of mayonnaise based on your preferences.

Season to Taste: Add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is thoroughly combined.

Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the pimento cheese for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve: After chilling, taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve the pimento cheese with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired.
