  • 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add onion and garlic, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • Add diced goat meat to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in diced carrots and peas, then add broth, thyme, salt, and pepper; simmer for 15 minutes until meat is tender.
  • Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface and transfer it to a pie dish, trimming excess dough.
  • Pour the goat filling into the pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  • Cover with a second pie crust, crimp the edges, and make slits in the top crust.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown and flaky.
  • Let the pie cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
