Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1 lb beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 inch ginger freshly grated
  • 1 piece bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium carrot julienned
  • 3 pieces green onions chopped
  • sesame seeds for garnish
  • fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  • Boil water in a large pot and cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  • In a medium bowl, combine beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  • Add marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes, then stir-fry until fully cooked, about 3-4 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add sliced bell pepper and julienned carrot. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  • Return cooked beef to the skillet with vegetables. Add cooked rice noodles and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Sprinkle chopped green onions over the mixture and toss again. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  • Plate the sticky beef noodles and garnish with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro before serving.
