Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

4 fresh jalapenos, finely diced (seeds removed for less heat)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil (for skillet)

Additional cheese for topping (optional)

Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Skillet: Heat a large, non-stick skillet over medium heat while you prepare the filling.

Create the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.

Roll the Dough: Divide the pizza dough into 8 equal portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each piece into a small oval or rectangle.

Stuff the Rolls: Take about 2 tablespoons of the jalapeno mixture and place it in the center of each rolled-out dough piece. Carefully fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal tightly.

Sear the Rolls: Add olive oil to the heated skillet. Once hot, carefully place the stuffed rolls seam-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Melt Additional Cheese (optional): If you like extra cheesiness, sprinkle some additional cheddar or mozzarella on top of the rolls during the last minute of cooking. Cover with a lid to help melt the cheese.

Serve: Remove the rolls from the skillet and let them cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro if desired. Serve warm with ranch or your favorite dipping sauce.
