4 cups Chex cereal (Corn or Rice)

2 cups pretzel twists

1 cup salted peanuts or mixed nuts

1 cup mini chocolate chips

1 cup toffee bits (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup butter (2 sticks)

1 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

A pinch of salt

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Chex cereal, pretzels, and peanuts. Stir until well mixed. Set aside.

      Make Toffee Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil. Allow it to boil for 2 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the vanilla extract, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.

        Coat the Mixture: Pour the hot toffee sauce over the Chex mix, stirring gently to ensure all the cereal, pretzels, and nuts are evenly coated.

          Bake: Spread the coated mixture evenly onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.

            Cool and Add Chocolate: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. While still warm, sprinkle the mini chocolate chips and toffee bits over the mix. The heat will slightly melt the chocolate, creating a delicious coating.

              Cool Completely: Allow to cool completely on the baking sheet before breaking into clusters.
